Vassar Road Baptist Church Preschool will be having Open House every Tuesday morning in March beginning March 5th until March 26th. The Open House will offer you and your child the opportunity to meet with the teachers and to see the classroom. Appointments are requested but not required. Applications are being accepted and children can register during the open house.

The Northeast Gateway to Freedom of Newburgh, NY is hosting a two day leadership roundtable featuring international and regional speakers. The theme is “God’s Premier Strategies, GPS Navigating for a new day.”  Guest author, Bob Sorge, Bishop Joseph Likavo, Eldoret Kenya, international speaker Don Richter, Dr. Chidiogo, Evangelist Xavier Baez, Pastor Angella Michels of Glory Oasis, and Pastor Rosey Andrews of Gateway will be in the discussion.

ULCS is hosting an open house for prospective students grades Pre K – 12 the first four Fridays in March. This is a come and go open house during the hours of 10 am and 2 pm. Parents and prospective students will receive a complete tour of the school and be able to ask any questions they may have.

St. Mary’s Columbiettes #4065 is selling homemade chowders. New England Clam Chowders and Minestrone soup, all made meat free in observance of Lent. Bread bowls offered.

Back by popular demand, the Hyde Park Knights of Columbus will be serving Fresh Haddock, not previously frozen fish, for the 7th year in a row.

Serving every Friday during Lent, EXCEPT Good Friday, starting Feb. 15th and ending March 22nd.

Your choice of meal entrée includes: Fresh Haddock Fillet, Clam Strips, Battered Shrimp or Breaded Scallops, Cole slaw, French fries, roll, butter, dessert, soft drink or coffee all for $10.00. Also offered are a Palazzo Platter-Combo plate for $15.00 or a cup of Clam chowder for $2.00. Served in house from 5PM to 7PM.

This ministry seeks to celebrate God’s healing and redemptive power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles” Celebrate Recovery is based on.  Held on Friday nights.

The Lord of The Harvest Church, located in the River Front Center Theater in Amsterdam, will be presenting a free Easter Concert featuring the band Theophilus. The Stockholm United Methodist Church will be holding a Lenten Soup Supper and Bible Study series every Friday in March at 6:30-8:30. Everyone is invited. The Bible Study series is lead by Pastor Wally Schwarz following a book titled “The Way” written by Adam Hamilton and follows the footsteps of Jesus during his ministry. Soup, Salad, bread and dessert is the menu and provided/shared by members of the study.
