In this class you can fine-tune your finishing skills and learn how to do the technique you find most daunting. The workshop will include the ladder/mattress technique, bump to bump, Kitchener stitch/grafting, 3 needle bind off, icord finish, and blocking. There will also be general discussion about finishing. Knitters of all levels are welcome to bring an unfinished project and some extra fibers to practice any troublesome techniques.
“Victorious” is the theme for this year’s Spring Rally, where women from the Hudson Valley come together for a time of food, fellowship and ministry. Rev. Diana Adour from Church of the Revelation in the Bronx will be the keynote speaker and share an encouraging message of victory through Scripture and personal testimony. Together in Christ we are victorious over every potential obstacle, every snare, every stronghold. As we come together on April 20th we will celebrate the victorious power of Christ in each of us, propelling us forward to be all He created us to be and to walk the path He has set before us, positively impacting the lives of many in the process.
Deadline to purchase tickets is April 1, 2013.
