As you are doing your spring cleaning, and want to get rid of some things, please remember that on Saturday, April 27, the Women’s Fellowship of the Reformed Church of Shawangunk will be holding a tag/yard sale from 9am to 2pm for you to sell those items. Support families in need around the world. The Grandma’s Attic Sale will feature gently used home furnishings, decorations, antiques, toys and more. This is an opportunity to help the environment by re-using and recycling items. All proceeds support United Methodist mission projects around the world. A Silent Auction will be held, ending at 12 pm.

The Nothern Dutchess Bible Church of Red Hook is holding a Men’s Breakfast. All men are invited to attend and a free will offering will be received. The guest speaker will be Bruce Coty an outdoorsman and adventurer. Recently, he completed a 2184 mile hike of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Fly Casting for Men is a class designed to introduce you to essential fly casting skills and start you on your way to a lifetime of fun and leisure. In this hands-on class, you will learn the basic techniques needed for success on the water. Other casting information will be covered, time and interest permitting. No previous experience required.
Our Comprehensive One Day Adirondack Photography Workshop is for beginning and intermediate photographers and features instruction on many facets of digital and film photography.

The Rhinebeck Teachers Association will sponsor the Senior Citizens Prom with the theme “A Night on the Red Carpet.” Tickets are $16 and will include dinner, dancing, and door prizes. Specially created for women who have always wanted to try their hand at fly fishing, this is a beginners class designed to introduce you to essential fly casting skills. With one-on-one instruction, the class starts with reading the rod for fishing followed by learning physical casting. Other information on casting will be covered, as time permits.
