The King's Cafe, a coffee house ministry of Netherwood Baptist Church 1211 Netherwood Road, Salt Point New York, is sponsoring an evening of prasie and worship music by Jim and Laura Bird. Jim and Laura Bird are returning to the King's Cafe by popular demand. Jim has been a worship leader for almost 20 years, and his wife Laura has participated in in her church choir for many years. Together they present the heart of His worship in a delightful and tender manner to all that hear them. A free will offereing will be taken for the musicans at the end of the service. Home made cakes, cookies, as well as coffee and tea will be available at the King's Cafe.
The First Baptist Church of Rhinebeck will be hosting a basketball camp in their gym during the week of July 8th-12th for guys in 7th through 9th grades. The program runs from 8:45am – 5:00pm, and the cost is $65 which includes a tee shirt, daily lunches and snacks, and a cookout / awards program for the whole family at the end of the week.
With the help of an experienced local coaching staff, the daily activities will focus on the fundamentals of Basketball, and will include both individual and team skill improvement exercises. The camp staff is committed to encouraging positive moral and spiritual character development in the lives of the players as they teach them the game of basketball.
Sparta Evangelical Free Church is having a day camp for children in grades 1-6 from July 8th-12th. The cost is $100 per child; $85 for additional children in same family if registered by June 1st. Register online at www.spartaefc.org.
