Grace Church MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) exists to meet the needs of every mom who all share a similar desire to be the very best mom they can be!
Our first MOPS meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 18th from 9-11am, at Grace Community Church in Lake Katrine, NY.
We will be gathering to worship the Lord our Savior and share the love of Christ with the children of the World Wide Heart to Heart Children’s Village in Honduras by prayer and other gifts of love. We will worship, praise and pray for the orphans of Honduras from 2 pm to 5:30 followed by dinner and the Ablaze Evening Service. We hope you will join us.
We are holding a tricky tray on October 19, 2013 at the Delaware Valley Elementary School’s gym.

August 21, 2013: The Foundation for Wellness Professionals(FWP), a national non-profit 501C-3 organization of volunteer healthcare professionals providing disease prevention workshops and seminars, is pleased to announce that Dr. Ellie Fella, a FWP volunteer, will be presenting a lecture on “Natural Approaches to Preventing and Handling Arthritic Pain”” at 2:30 pm at the Fishkill All Sport, 17 Old Main Street, Fishkill, NY on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. The presentation will help those who suffer with many chronic joint diseases and will include steps to help prevent joint diseases. The audience will be educated on what arthritis is, who is susceptible to this disorder, the different types of arthritis and the possible causes, as well as how to relieve pain from arthritis and joint diseases.
Dr. Fella, DC, who is board certified and a well known Wellness practitioner, licensed in NY State, is a graduate of the prestigious University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. She has presented many lectures and health screenings throughout the local area on a variety of topics dealing with natural solutions to health problems. Her lectures and screenings are available at no charge to any organization or group in Dutchess County and can be scheduled by calling Donna at the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, at 845-447-1171.

Whether you’re an experienced spinner or a beginner looking for some hints and tips, bring your wheel every 3rd Wednesday from March through October and be prepared to enjoy an evening of open spinning with other fiber enthusiasts. If you do not have your own wheel, call the school ahead of time to check on wheel availability.
Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

Teen Challenge, a choir representing the largest non-profit rehabilitation program in the world, will perform at First Baptist for a love gift on Wednesday, September 18, 7:00 p.m. Every member of Teen Challenge comes from a background of drugs, alcohol, and/or crime. With his own story from murder to heroin addiction, each testifies to the miracle-working power of God’s love. The choir represents over 200 students residing at the Teen Challenge Training Center in Rehrersburg, Pennsylvania. Teen Challenge has over 100 Induction Centers in the U.S. and has a documented 86% cure rate.
Girls Ministries and Royal Rangers from Crossroads Assembly of God will resume Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 7pm. Ages Pre-K (3-4) to High School. These ministries are held every Wednesday from 7pm-8:30pm, September to June. For more information, please call church office, 845-561-1030.
