We are so excited and privileged to welcome Robert and Gayle Bucknam to Grace Community for a special parenting event, “Reaching the Heart of Your Child.” The conference will take place on October 11th (7-9p) and October 12th (8a-2:30p) at the Grace Washingtonville Campus. Dr. Bucknam is a renowned national author and speaker on parenting. He co-authored a series of parenting books known as Baby Wise, with Gary Ezzo. Their current book, On Becoming Baby Wise, has sold over 2.5 million copies and has been translated into 15 different languages. Dr. Bucknam is the Director of Cornerstone Pediatrics, a four-physician pediatric practice in Louisville, CO, with a targeted interest in pre-term and high risk newborns. He and his wife Gayle live in Colorado with their four sons–one of which is currently a senior at West Point.
A cost of $10 p/p covers the conference, materials, refreshments, a light breakfast, and lunch. Below please find an outline of the conference schedule.

Our community will take part in a 40 Days For Life. A ground breaking, coordinated international pro-life mobilization with a vision to access God’s power through prayer, fasting & peaceful vigil to end abortion. The vigil will be 24 hours a day seven days per week at 137 Warren Street, Glens Falls, NY (right next door to an abortion clinic).
THE MISSION of this campaign is to bring together the body of Christ is a spirit of unity during a focused 40 day campaign of prayer, fasting, and peaceful activism with the purpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to run hearts and minds from a culture of death to culture of life, thus bring and end to abortion. Registrations are now open for Upward Sports Basketball league kindergarten through 6th grade. It is run by 12th Rock Ministries of Middletown, NY. Speaker, Jason Berga, has an M.A. in Theology and an M.A. in Counseling, studying at Moody, Washington Bible College, Capital Bible Seminary, and Chesapeake Seminary. Jason served as pastor of Family Ministries at Wye Bible Church in Maryland for 12 years. Jason has served with Village Missions as the senior pastor of Faith Bible Fellowship outside of Ithaca for the past 9 years. He and his wife, Kathi have five children.
