Youth Event: Midnight Glory presents \”UNHINDERED\”
The Foundation for Wellness Professionals(FWP), a national non-profit 501C-3 organization of volunteer healthcare professionals providing disease prevention workshops and seminars, is pleased to announce that they will be presenting a lecture on “Natural Solutions to Type II Diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 1:00 at Adams Fairacre Farms, 160 Old Post Road, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. The lecture will cover the causes and symptoms of both health problems and educate participants about natural approaches to treating Type II Diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome. The Center for Disease Control calls diabetes “the epidemic of our time” and early prevention and care are critical to both problems.
The Foundation has presented many lectures and health screenings throughout the local area on a variety of topics dealing with natural solutions to health problems. Their lectures and screenings are available at no charge to any organization or group in Dutchess County and can be scheduled by calling Donna at the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, at 845-447-1171.

Karate for Christ begins September 17, every Tuesday and Saturday from 6-8pm when school is in session through May 31, 2014. The class is FREE, but donations are appreciated. Learn the world of martial arts with the guidance of Championship Black Belt instructors, who will teach the fundamentals of Boxing, Kickboxing, Sport Karate and Self-Defense awareness. Each class begins and ends with prayer and uses the teachings of the Bible for mental strength.
Ladies Fit for Christ begins September 17, and runs every Tuesday and Saturday from 6-7:30pm when school is in session through May 31, 2014. The class is FREE for Women of all Ages, using a variety of aerobic activity set to Christian music. The exercise will be modified to meet individual needs and physical capability. Bring sneakers, water bottle, hand towel, exercise mat, and hand weights if wanted, to New Beginnings, 35 DeGarmo Road in the town of Poughkeepsie.
