The Foundation for Wellness Professionals(FWP), a national non-profit 501C-3 organization of volunteer healthcare professionals providing disease prevention workshops and seminars, is pleased to announce that they will be presenting a free lecture at Nature’s Pantry, 1545 Route 52, Fishkill, NY 12524 on Saturday, March 22, 2013 from 11:00-12:30 p.m entitled “Understanding Fibromyalgia: A Holistic Approach to Treating Chronic Pain and Fatigue with Natural Alternative Methods” . This presentation will educate the audience on how a holistic approach, which encompasses nutrition, diet, exercise and lifestyle changes such as stress reduction, detoxification and natural healthcare, will help them manage this condition and return them to a healthier, happier, lifestyle. They will learn the simple definition of “Fibromyalgia”, statistical information on the disease, and the symptoms and alternative methods for addressing this disorder.

Karate for Christ begins September 17, every Tuesday and Saturday from 6-8pm when school is in session through May 31, 2014. The class is FREE, but donations are appreciated. Learn the world of martial arts with the guidance of Championship Black Belt instructors, who will teach the fundamentals of Boxing, Kickboxing, Sport Karate and Self-Defense awareness. Each class begins and ends with prayer and uses the teachings of the Bible for mental strength.
Ladies Fit for Christ begins September 17, and runs every Tuesday and Saturday from 6-7:30pm when school is in session through May 31, 2014. The class is FREE for Women of all Ages, using a variety of aerobic activity set to Christian music. The exercise will be modified to meet individual needs and physical capability. Bring sneakers, water bottle, hand towel, exercise mat, and hand weights if wanted, to New Beginnings, 35 DeGarmo Road in the town of Poughkeepsie.
