Wear a Star Day

The [R] Project wants to share it’s annual WEAR A STAR DAY on April 12. This is a day set aside to remember our “little stars” in heaven. These “little stars” are any loss of a child, including still borns and miscarriages.

Whether you were directly or indirectly affected from a loss of child, you can still help spread this message of Hope.

The goal is simple, just wear a star. This could be a shirt, necklace, button, sticker, etc… When someone asks you what the star means, just let them know that it’s in honor of a “little star”.

FOOD~CLOTHING~TOY DRIVE TO BENEFIT THOSE IN NEED

On July 12, 2014, Impact M-City is hosting the March for Jesus, being held in Middletown, NY. Faithindeed Ministry for the Homeless is proud and excited to a part of this event. We will be leading “The Storehouse Tent” where food, clothing, toys, and blessings bags (basic toiletries,) will be distributed at no cost to those in need. We are expecting a large turnout that day and do not want anyone to leave empty-handed. For a person who has does not have any of these items, receiving them is priceless. There are some who will come to the event who are not homeless but do not have the means to purchase these necessary things, and these simple gifts are so appreciated. Our main focus is to offer these people hope and show them compassion and love by providing for their physical needs.
The reason for this letter is to ask for donations for this outreach. We are holding a massive food/clothing/toy drive and are in need of the following items:
• Non-perishable food items
• New or gently-used toys/stuffed animals
• New or gently-used clothing—Clothing must be clean and in good condition. While not necessary, it would be helpful for the clothing to come bagged & labeled as to size and gender.
On the 2nd Saturday of each month, (April-June, and the first Saturday of July) donated items can be dropped off from 11am-2pm, at the Rehoboth Christian Center Church, 36 North St., Middletown, NY 10940. If other arrangements need to be made, please visit www.IMPACTMCITY.com for alternate dates. All other inquiries should be directed to Pam and Robin at Faithindeed, at 845-476-8845.
Thank you so much for considering partnering with us. This act of kindness will help us reach our goal to touch the lives of those who are less fortunate. Together, we can make a difference in our community. We look forward to hearing from you.
