Baobab Blast Outreach Project – Summer 2016
Vacation Bible School is again “going” to Africa! As a “connection” from our VBS to our sisters and brothers in Tanzania, our global outreach project will involve contributing to the re-building of some churches in Africa. During 2015 a number of church buildings in the Northwest Diocese of Tanzania were damaged by radical non-Christian arsonists. The damage done to these houses of worship totals approximately $12,000.

To join our VBS Community in this outreach, you may write checks to St. John’s with memo:

Gifts for Tanzanian Church Buildings” or cash gifts may be given in an envelope with the same memo on the outside.

Our “local” outreach project will be collection of non-perishable food for our St. John’s pantry to our community sisters and brothers in need.
