Laura Robison, a Wycliffe missionary to South Sudan, will speak and answer questions both about her experiences working in South Sudan and about the current situation there. Listeners will be better informed about the news and will enjoy more deeply the context of the movie to be presented as well. The new 2014 movie examines the huge cultural challenges facing three immigrant Sudanese whose desire for settlement and work provokes deep life change as well in the Kansas City employment counselor who assists them.
