Losing someone you love is tough, it can feel overwhelming. What do we do with all the emotions that go along with loss? How do we cope or ever feel hopeful again? If this type of heartache has changed your family’s life we want you to know you are not alone – we want to come alongside you and offer you our support and help. The Warrensburg Free Methodist Church is pleased to be able to offer GriefShare, (www.GriefShare.org) a brand new grief recovery seminar and support group. GriefShare will meet at the Warrensburg Free Methodist Church, 250 River Street, Warrensburg, NY, each Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm, beginning Tuesday, September 15, 2015.
GriefShare features nationally recognized experts on grief recovery topics. Seminar sessions include things like “Is This Normal?”; “The Challenges of Grief” and will touch on things such as “Why?” and “Guilt and Anger.” Most importantly, participants discover they are not alone in many of their feelings and experiences following the loss of a loved one. Please join us for an open house on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 7 pm at the Warrensburg Free Methodist Church to learn more about GriefShare. If you have questions or would like more information please feel free to contact us at 518-623-3023 or 518-793-3020. We look forward to meeting you!

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. 24 years ago, Saddleback Church launched Celebrate Recovery with 43 people. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery has helped more than 17000 people at Saddleback, attracting over 70% of its members from outside the church. Eighty-five percent of the people who go through the program stay with the church and nearly half serve as church volunteers.
