Drowning Prevention Seminars are open to lifeguards and to members of the general public interested in drowning prevention, particularly if they swim at a facility that is not required to have a lifeguard. These seminars include an informative video on drowning victim recognition as well as a discussion of lifeguard duties and responsibilities as they relate to Dutchess County Department of Health regulations.

A new Mom’s Christian Fellowship group.  The group will meet every Wednesday at 11:00 am.  The moms will have a time of sharing and Christian study while the kids play down the hall.  Childcare will be provided.

On Wednesday, May 22, the Cornell Cooperative Extension Ulster County’s Master Gardener program will be hosting a bus trip to Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

The buses will load at 7:30 AM in the MAC Fitness parking lot in Kingston Plaza. The buses leave at 8 AM and will return at 5 PM.

Registration is required by May 17th. The cost is $45 per person. The price includes transportation, admission, and a guided tour. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch.

4th annual Golf outing to support short-term mission trips and serve as an outreach. Registration begins @ 11:30AM; shotgun start @ 1:00PM. Lunch, cart and dinner after golf included @ $100. Dinner only, $35.00.  Special guest speaker, Ryan Neill, former NFL player with the Buffalo Bills. Sponsorship opportunities available.

The Dutchess County Christian Women's Club will present a delicious luncheon, special feature, an inspirational speaker and special music.

If you want to improve your English skills, Catholic Charities is offering free ESOL classes.  Learners at all levels are welcome.  Morning classes from 9:30 – 12:30 and evening classes from 6:00 – 9:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Call for more information:  845-452-1400 X 4207.
