The Foundation for Wellness Professionals(FWP), a national non-profit 501C-3 organization of volunteer healthcare professionals providing disease prevention workshops and seminars, is pleased to announce that Dr. Ellie Fella, a FWP volunteer, will be presenting a free lecture at Nature’s Pantry, 1545 Route 52, Fishkill, NY , 12524, on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 11:00-12:30 p.m. entitled “Alternative Approaches to Preventing and Handling Common Digestive Disorders”. The lecture will cover Acid Reflux, Hiatal Hernias, Ulcers, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Colitis and Crohn’s Disease which are just a few of the digestive disorders that affect over 61 million Americans each year. From this workshop the community can learn how the digestive system works, the most common digestive complaints, how stress affects digestion and the preventative measures and natural approaches to improve the health of the digestive system. The lecture will also cover information about an innovative nutritional blood analysis new to our area that can help find answers about nutritional issues and digestive problems, as well as the use of saunas as a way to detox the body from harmful substances that may cause digestive problems.
Dr. Fella, D.C., who is board certified and a well known Wellness practitioner, licensed in NY State, has presented many lectures and health screenings throughout the local area on a variety of topics dealing with natural solutions to health problems.
