Sacandaga Bible Conference’s summer concert series continues with The Lindsey Family at 7 p.m. at the Tabernacle. The concert is free.
Before the music, join us for an all-you-can-eat Sunday Dinner-style smorgasbord at 5:30 p.m. in Hilltop Dining Hall. Tickets are $12 for adults, with discounts for children. For reservations, call (518) 883-3713.
ABOUT THE MUSIC: Music started in the Lindsey Family home long before any of the children came along. Alan "Skip" Lindsey has been playing guitar, singing, rallying group songs around campfires, and leading worship in churches for more than 20 years. His wife, Tammy, complements his talent with vocals — and keeps providing more upcoming talent! They say their music brings back the good ol' days when families prayed together and played together. When Jared, the first of the children, was only four years old, he started playing guitar and singing, next came Ben on the fiddle, then Caleb on the mandolin … and so began a long line of musicians and singers.
