Brandi Lanai

I grew up in Santa Barbara, CA, and am a Southern California girl through and through. However, areas on the east coast have had a special place in my heart, too. Immediately after graduating high school I went to live with relatives in Maryland and gave my heart to the Lord at their church.

While I’ve had the privilege of working at several mainstream stations and news outlets over the years, God led me to Christian radio. As a result, I’ve had opportunities to speak at Christian women’s conferences all over the country.

My mission is encouragement. I am so grateful to God for the platform HE has given me to encourage others daily to seek HIM, trust HIM, and find joy in HIM no matter the situation life happens to be dealing them. I truly believe that there is something to celebrate in every day and stands on my “life verse” Exodus 14:14 “The Lord your God will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Also, if there’s one other thing you should know about me – if it’s purple, I either have it or want it. I’m also a single mom to an awesome young adult son, Shane, and Aunt to my other elementary-aged star, Luna.
