Event Details

The Hudson Mohawk Figure Skating Club will begin their 2019-2020 Learn to Skate season at the RPI Houston Fieldhouse at 1600 Peoples Avenue, Troy, on Saturday October 19th from 9:45-10:45am. The 10-week lesson program is open to skaters ages 3-adult, and includes a 30-minute group lesson and a 30-minute practice session.

Participants registered by November 2nd are invited to perform with their group in our annual Holiday Happiness show. The show will be held this year on December 21st and is open to the public.

All HMFSC instructors are certified through the Professional Skaters Association and US Figure Skating. The program is managed by Learn to Skate Director Donna Wojtowicz. Visit www.hmfsc.org/lts or contact SkateHMFSC@gmail.com for information.

With over 50 years at its home at the RPI Fieldhouse, The Hudson Mohawk Figure Skating Club Inc. (HMFSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and a member of US Figure Skating, the governing body of the sport of figure skating in the United States. The purpose of HMFSC is to promote figure skating, free skating, ice dancing and moves in the field at all levels.

Our USFSA Learn to Skate Program is open to skaters of all levels ages 5-adult. All instructors are certified through the Professional Skaters Association and members of US Figure Skating. Skaters advance through our program at their own pace, and have the opportunity to participate in our annual Holiday Happiness show in December as well as our Garren Competition in March.
