Joe is the Program Director for the Sound of Life Radio Network. He grew up in North Carolina, with Andy Griffith, sweet tea, and bar-b-que. Most people only gave him 6 months in Yankee territory, but God had other plans. Joe is a testament of God’s incredible grace; a person who moved here out of purely selfish motives who is being used for His glory on a daily basis. God gave him a love for radio, something that He uses for His glory to impact lives every day. Joe is married to Debbie and they have three grown children. Contact him at email@example.com
Doug is a Christ-follower, a proud husband, a dad, and Diet Pepsi and Apple products fanatic. He’s been married to his wife Julie since 1988, and they have 4 kids – one of whom has a Master’s Degree, confirming that she always was smarter than her dad! 😉 Doug is originally from Michigan. He likes saying things on the radio that build people up and remind people of God’s grace, which really is AMAZING!
It is so fun being able to connect with you on this station! Every day I feel like you and I are having coffee, talking about all the good, bad and crazy stuff we have to go through. In case you’re curious, I’m married to Ken, who is hilarious and he makes me laugh every day. We have three daughters, Emily, Molly and Marissa, who are just starting their grown-up lives and are “adulating” quite well. I love eating healthy and working out, although I also love eating cheese and sitting on the couch watching HGTV, so there’s that constant tension. I love wrestling with faith issues and shopping for cute clothes; which I realize doesn’t sound like they go together but…we’re all complicated.
Brant Hansen is a toast-obsessed nerd who, when in high school, was no less than PRESIDENT of the Illinois Student Librarians Association. He was also All-Conference in “Scholastic Bowl”, and lettered in basketball and football (both for keeping statistics) and was President of his own Stamp Collection Club, which consisted of himself. He’s also an “Aspie” – diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome as an adult. And he’s happy about it. Brant works full-time for CURE International, a network of hospitals serving the poor around the world. He’s also a radio host. In his spare time, he walks his three-legged dog, Nigel, while looking inappropriately intense. He can’t help it. Brant is also a husband and dad, and he’s won multiple awards for his radio skills and is typing all of this himself, and putting it in third-person in hopes that it seems more impressive that way. Sherri Lynn has been a radio professional for well over a decade. She has her degree in Communications as well as Biblical Studies. Sherri Lynn began her career as a weekend host at a Mortensen Broadcasting radio station in Pittsburgh. From there she became the morning show host at Pittsburgh’s number one gospel music station and also gained popularity as afternoon host on Salem’s 101.5 WORD-FM. From there she has had hosting stints on both the Rejoice! Musical Soulfood Network and the Sheridan Gospel Network (SGN The Light). Sherri is a well accomplished comedienne, former youth pastor and currently is a producer/co-host for the nationally syndicated Brant Hansen Show.

Taylor was born in Azle Texas, relocating with her family to Houston in the 2nd grade. At the age of 24 she decided she was ready for something different. This began a journey to several cities and formats in her 26 year radio career. Taylor’s spin into radio began with Country Music in Texas, and then on to Binghamton, New York. Being young and adventurous, she “knew” there was no place to go for the real Country vibe but Nashville, Tennessee. Eventually, Taylor’s deep family roots landed her in Tri Cities Tennessee doing Top 40 Morning Radio for 12 years before going onto Christian Radio where she says she intends to stay.
Taylor is a divorced parent of two children under the age of 15. She knows the joys and challenges that arise in everyday life. Taylor truly rejoices in the success and happiness of others while also sharing compassion and understanding as she spreads positivity and hope to others dealing with harsher life situations. She felt pain and frustration herself, walking the path of her own painful and unwanted divorce. She now realizes that this journey brought her closer to God. She says that as her faith grew she learned to put all things in HIS hands and could feel HIS love surround her. Taylor can be heard on the radio relating to the realities of today’s world and spreading encouragement.

Brenda is so honored to open the mic and share the love of Jesus with you! Over her 15 years in radio she has worked in secular and Christian radio all over the country. Brenda is mainly on the radio these days, but she also has a TV Host/Reporting background in entertainment, news, and racing.
Brenda’s walk with Jesus began when she hit rock bottom after years of living on the wild side. She is proud to share her story of how Jesus saved her from a destructive path and transformed her entire life 9 years ago! Because of His mercy, grace, and love, you hear her over the airwaves today. ALL GLORY IS HIS!!
She believes with all her heart that we need to share our testimonies, our failures, and our praises, you never know how God will use them!
Brenda is engaged to a wonderful man who God placed at a busy intersection one day when her car broke down! He pushed the car off the roadway himself and he is terrified of walking in traffic, isn’t that so God?!?! She also has a fur-family! Both her fur-babies are rescues. Izzy, her dog, was adopted and Jake, her cat, showed up at her doorstep! Brenda feels blessed to spend time with you over the air waves, it is a gift from God
As a kid growing up in Chicago I loved listening to the amazing, entertaining radio personalties on Chicago radio. When I became a Christian as a teenager and discovered Christian music, I knew I wanted to combine my love of radio with music that truly is life-changing. Even though my parents encouraged me to have a “back up” plan just in case this radio thing didn’t work out, I am fortunate to have worked in radio since I was 18-years-old. Radio has taken me from Chicago, to Indiana, Virginia, Michigan, and California and along the way I’ve been blessed to have my wife Julie and two great kids Evan and Olivia.
When I’m not on the radio, I love spending time with my family. My wife Julie does speaking in churches and retreats, my son Evan loves basketball and all sports (a love I share with him), and my daughter Olivia is crazy about animals – especially our dog Zack. We also love going to theme parks and riding roller coasters together! I’m heavily involved in my church and work with an organization called CURE International. I’m also in a billion fantasy football leagues (if someone asks, I can’t say no – so please don’t ask me to be in one … my wife will thank you).
I consider it a privilege to share life and this great music with you on the radio.
